Leisure at La Manga Club

La Manga Club is a haven for those of you looking for relaxation and rejuvenation with its own La Manga Spa located in the Las Lomas Village. A 25 metre indoor pool, thermal and water treatments, massages and therapies and also a fitness centre with 'state-of-the-art' equipment.

The region of Murcia is Moorish in history with traditional Spanish villages and ports offering a unique shopping experience and cafes and restaurants in abundance. Cabo de Palos, only 20 minutes from La Manga Club hosts a market on a Sunday morning which offers local produce and leather goods in abundance. Enjoy the 'catch of the day' at one of its restaurants overlooking the harbour; children and families are always welcome.

Cartagena and Murcia Towns have interesting museums and archaeological sites giving an insight into this region at the time of Franco and also how the Moorish people lived many years ago. There are also up and coming shopping centres with a range of Spanish treasures for all the family.

La Manga Club has its own beach cove of La Cala nestled in the hillside and facing the Mediterranean Sea. Outside the resort is the beaches of the Mar Menor which are sandy and the non-tidal system of the Mar Menor inland waterway makes it a safe place for bathing with small children.

Calblanque National Reserve has the most wonderful beaches with long strips of sand and almost empty beaches. There are no facilities here but the swimming and tranquil setting is completely different from the activity based La Manga Club.

All-in-all there is plenty to see and do around the La Manga Club itself. Each property has a booklet of information but if you would like to know more about the region then visit http://www.idealspain.com.
