Alternative Academies
During the school holidays La Manga Club arrange Dance, Football, Rugby and Cricket Academies for groups of children. All of which are supervised by experienced staff who have a background and training in their chosen field. Ask us for more details.
Bowls
At the La Manga Tennis Centre is a bowls green with five rinks. You can hire bowls from the Tennis Centre and during the winter months the local residents operate a bowls club where visitors are welcome to join for a 'roll-up'.
Cycling
This region of Spain is exceptionally popular with cyclists as it offers exciting and challenging trails for all levels of riders. The Activity Booking Centre has a wide range of mountain and road bikes available for hire and throughout the years offers guided rides in Calblanque Regional Park and the surrounding villages.
The Activity Centre also provides helmets, locks, child seats and child trailers.
Horseriding
Why not take yourself on a hack along the secluded beaches of Calblanque and through the nature reserve located between La Manga Club and Cabo de Palos. The local horse riding school offers private hire of horses and accompanied treks for beginners through to advanced riders.
Junior Club
Next to La Manga Tennis Centre is the Junior Club which offers fun for all the kids ranging from 3 months to 12 years of age. You can book morning or afternoon sessions or both and know that your children are in the capable hands of experience child-minding staff. The activities are both inside and outside with everything designed for amusement and learning!
Scuba-Diving
At Las Lomas in La Manga Club is the Adventure Diving School offering a selection of courses in scuba diving and snorkeling. PADI certification is also available and guided dives to wrecks off the Mediterranean shores are also available, weather permitting.
Watersports
The inland sea of the Mar Menor offers you a wide selection of watersports which include Sailing, Windsurfing, Kayaking, Water-Skiing and Kite-Surfing. The shallow waters make this an ideal place to learn or develop your existing skills. The centre is only a 15 minute drive from the La Manga Club itself and there is a selection of beaches with cafes and waterside bars for those looking for a more relaxing pursuit.
